June 4, 2019 – Telinekataja Oy, the largest supplier of scaffolding and weather protection solutions in Finland and the Nordic countries, has acquired the entire business of Swedish company ABAB Sverige AB. The fast-growing ABAB employs 50 scaffolding professionals. In addition, the Swedish company employs dozens of subcontractor professionals with a turnover of EUR 10 million. Telinekataja, which employs 260 people and a total of up to 700 scaffolding professionals, is seeking growth in Sweden’s growing scaffolding and weather protection market.
ABAB operates in the high-growth economic areas of Stockholm and Gävle, and produces scaffolding and weather protection solutions for both construction and industry. ABAB’s customers include leading companies such as Stora Enso and Peab.

Telinekataja has a market share of more than 30 percent in Finland, and also has business operations in Estonia. Telinekataja’s turnover is over EUR 70 million and ABAB is also seen as a path to strong growth in the Swedish market.
